THE JOURNEY
BLUEBERRY MUFFIN
This was the first plant I grew that made me say, “Wow!” The buds were so coated in trichomes that they appeared to shimmer. The aroma was of the freshest, sweetest blueberries--personally, one of my favorite flavor profiles. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any clones prior to flowering but I knew I wanted to save the genetics of this plant. I decided to harvest the majority of the flowers, leaving just a few branches, and then throw her back into the veg tent. She responded beautifully and continued to provide that elusive blueberry flavor profile.
THE HAPPY COUPLE
The first male I decided to keep was a monster Hells OG plant. It very quickly overtook an entire 2x4 tent and forced me to purchase an additional tent to move my other plants into. At this point I finally had enough growing space to have a dedicated breeding tent. I chose to start by crossing my cherished Blueberry Muffin with the freakishly large Hells OG. Bit of a David vs Goliath situation. The result is a plant that stays relatively short but grows large dense buds.
FIRST PREGNANCY PHOTO
The dream became reality when I first saw signs of seed production on my plants. It was in this moment I realized that through breeding, I had an opportunity to create something that has never before existed in nature. This idea has motivated me since.
BURNT MUFFINS F1
I started exclusively growing my own seeds until I found a male and female phenotype that checked all of my boxes. After potency, I prioritize selecting for a smooth smoke with a flavor that lasts through the end of a session.
